The annual membership meeting of ASBA was called to order by
president Elaine Hall from Sahuarita Unified School District.
Past president Randy Schiller presented the slate of
officers recommended by the nominating committee, including president-elect
Debra Scott, Sierra Vista Unified; treasurer Julie Bacon, Paradise Valley
Unified; and secretary Torrie Anderson, Maricopa Unified. Kathy Knecht, Peoria
Unified, was nominated from the floor. The new officers are Knecht, Bacon and
Anderson.
Delegates approved the recommended by-law amendments as well
as an addition to the ASBA Core Beliefs.
